Wishes! Do They Really Come True?Children surprise us everyday with innocent questions. Often times these questions help us to focus on the The whole conversation makes me wonder what happens to that "magic" that surrounds wishes? My son also reminded me how we can also wish for others and share that "magic". For example, he chose (uncoaxed) to share two pennies with his one year old sister. Since she threw her pennies in so quickly, he made the wishes for her, being concerned she might not have had time to make wishes or had been specific enough with the wishes. How often do we give up on wishes because they are either undefined, seem too unrealistic, we are doubtful or fearful of them, we just don't think it could ever possibly happen, or because we don't receive or see the immediate results? I think when we wish for something specifically and keep the thoughts close by constantly, we begin to see, in very subtle ways, those wishes coming true. There are many opportunities presented, that if chosen, will get us closer or set us on the right path toward the outcome. These opportunities may be offering us experiences, information and knowledge needed to make the wish happen. Or, it may be establishing relationships with people needed to move us closer to the outcome. Wishes can appear like magic--we need to remember that things may not be as they appear and yet the outcome(s) will miraculously occur. Ask yourself the following questions to begin moving you back to your wishes! What wishes have you allowed to drift away? When is the last time you threw a penny in the fountain and made a wish? When is the last time you threw one in for someone else? Allow the magic to reenter your life! I'm sure I'll be discussing where we are going to park that F-14 Tomcat for quite awhile.
